The Savage Fincast Podcast to Feature Interview with Supreme Artist, Cory Hamscher!

The Savage Fincast Podcast is pleased to announce that our seventh episode will feature artist extrodinaire, Cory Hamscher! As you probably know, Cory is working off of Erik Larsen’s rough layouts to pencil and ink Extreme Studio’s Supreme from Image Comics. Hamscher’s portfolio encompasses over a decade of work illustrating comic books for Marvel, Image, Devil’s Due, Chaos and Avatar Press. Cory’s career highlights include inking G.I. Joe (including the first G.I. Joe vs Transformers miniseries), illustrating a bunch of the Marvel Adventure titles, and inking titles featuring the X-men, Hulk, and the Avengers. Savage Dragon fans know him from his Thor back up story in Savage Dragon #150.

The gang from the Savage Fincast will be talking to Hamscher about how he broke into the field, his past work, how he connected with Erik Larsen and eventually landed the gig as artist of Supreme, and his thoughts on the Supreme series. In addition to having Cory Hamscher on the show, the Fincasters will be conducting their usual review of the most recent Savage Dragon issue (#180), discussing Larsen-related news, and chatting about anything else that tickles their fancy!

You don’t want to miss this one! Whip out your new Supreme and Savage Dragon comics and listen along as we go through the nitty-gritty details of the most trivial things in our favorite funny-mags as only the most obsessed fan could! Stay tuned! The episode will go live later this week!
